It co-ordinates the activities of these clubs and organises larger events that are outside the
scope of an individual club, especially the Henri-Lloyd Weymouth Regatta
and major championships.
For instance, it has recently run
the J/24 Worlds and this year is running the Dragon Edinburgh
Cup. |
It has not premises of its own, but is run by three committees formed from representatives
of the clubs.- The Commodores' Committee
